It's really not a good idea. For starters the dosage isn't accurate. The dog type of tramadol is almost the same as the human form but it is not exactly the same. Additionally, tramadol for dogs or humans can be highly addictive. Seizures have been reported in humans taking the medication and you need a physician to prescribe it. If you are taking it for pain relief and you are looking to take the dog's script because you ran out of yours, your relief levels are not going to be the same. You should never take any medication that isn't prescribed to you for safety reasons. This applies to the dog tramadol as well as scripts written to other people.
No!
tramadol and ultracet contain the same ingredient tramadol. The difference is that ultacet contains 37 mgs of tramadol where tramadol contains 50 mgs of tramadol so tramadol is stronger then ultracet

Tramadol: the whole pill works within an hour. Tramadol HCL: extended release and will work all day long. You can just chew the Tramadol pill and it will get the same effect, i always chew all my eight or ten 200mg tramadol pills
Does hydrocodone and tramadol shoe same results in a urine drug test
Yes it is! My husband use TRAMADOL HCL CA 50MG but also has the 100MG. One is short acting and the other is a longer acting medication. When taking our German Shepherd to the vet they wrote out the medication instructions for the TRAMADOL 100MG and also GABAPENTIN unsure of the specific MG. Another visit they gave us Prednisone which I use . When we got home I checked all of her ones against the ones we humans use, suffice to say don’t pay the triple price at the vets , check your own medication.
Tramadol has a pretty wide dose range depending upon the individual dog and the degree and type of pain that is being treated. You should speak to your veterinarian about the doseage for your individual dog.
Tramadol is a synthetic opiate painkiller so should not be taken at the same time as Buprenorphine as this is an opiate blocker. The Tramadol would not work properly and the Buprenorphine may even cause a physical withdrawal from the Tramadol.
Its the same as Tramadol here in the US.
