they are the same Naproxen 500tev is manufactured by TEVA Pharmaceuticals
Teva 149 is a white, round pill imprinted with "Teva 149." It contains 500 mg of acetaminophen, a common over-the-counter medication used for pain relief and reducing fever. Acetaminophen is often used to treat headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, backaches, toothaches, colds, and fevers. It's important to follow dosing instructions to avoid potential liver damage from overdose.
Don't worry! Both are exactly the same. Both are Naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used for the reduction of moderate to severe pain, fever, inflammation and stiffness caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, menstrual cramps, tendinitis, bursitis, and the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea.P.S. If you really want a name breakdown, 500mg denotes the dosage (500 miligrams), TAB means drug is in tablet format, and TEVA is just the company that produces it (Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd). The numbers are just identifiers and don't mean anything, they help the company classify their drugs and organize them.
You can get Naproxen in several differnet dosages. 200, 500 and 800 for exmple. Also, Naproxen sodium is kind of the same thing but the milligrams are equavalent - I've heard - to 220, 520 and 820. Naproxen is the active ingredient , i beleive, in Aleve which you can get over the counter.

I am not a doctor nor a pharmacist, so my answer is entirely from experience with the two drugs. Naproxen 500 is WEAK in comparison to oxycodone 500. Naproxen if anything is more of a anti inflammatory, oxycodone can get you "high", naproxen not so much.
yes, I wen to my doctor today and he gave me Naproxen 500 because of my neck pain. He knows i take 1500mg of keppra. so I think it shouldn't be a problem.
Ibuprofen and Naproxen are the same thing, both an hormonal, anti inflammatory and are the same active drug but in a slightly different form Naproxen being moderately stronger. Vicodin has AP in it generally in the 320-750 range which is very similar to the active In Naproxen, but it has Hydrocodon which is the narcotic, which is an opiate and a strong one at that, this giving the "narcotic Affect". You will not have similar affects taking The two together any where near Vicodin, and i would be very careful with taking them together low dosages 500 Naproxen and 400-600 Ibuprofen is the max and defiantly not good for your stomach make sure you take food to reduce damage.
