I don't know how much hormone is in the patch, but I assume it's more than the NuvaRing. This is really a question for your gynecologist, because he/she'd know more, but if the Nuvaring will work for you after the patch, then by all means do it. It worked for me for a bit, and it was easy and convenient. I highly recommend it.
