Assuming that maybe you're not taking the Adderall XR for medical purposes, you don't want to take more than 100 mg in any 24 hour period. And even then that can be dangerous depending on your weight and how long you've been taking the Adderall and the most mg you've taken. On a more serious note, abusing Adderall can cause many serious life-lasting effects, that is if you don't overdose. For example, you may have a heart attack, you may get psychosis, or develop schizophrenia or some anxiety disorder, from the withdrawal of Adderall. Addiction to Adderall (aka Amphetamines) is more common than you might think. However, it is your life, and you can decide what you want to do, I'm just telling you the consequences you may have to deal with for your potential actions...

150 mg is not a lethal dose unless you have a pre-existing condition such as heart abnormalities or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Many people have reported taking 300, 400, even 500mg in a single dose. Depending on your weight/body mass index, height, and history of abuse one can "overdose" or at least have a heart attack on a dose as little as 90mg.

Don't go killing yourself with Adderall either, its a pretty painful & lame suicide.

Just stay below 90mg unless you like seriously are that addicted, and abusing it. I've heard of people who take 110mg.
