Magic mushrooms. Also mescaline and peyote, but those (I think) are stronger, more like LSD. I really don't know much about mescaline and peyote, but I think they can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
Magic mushrooms don't really make you hallucinate, unless you take a whole lot of them. Rather, things just seem to ripple and wave and pulse -- like, the leaves of a plant will look like they're waving to you, or all the flowers on a tree will look like they're rotating, and a dirt road looks like a moving river of dirt, and the grass seems to ripple like water, etc., etc. You can have a bad trip on mushrooms, but basically you'll just be really, really miserable -- they don't alter your perception to the point where you can't tell what's real and what isn't.
