A rash is one of the side effects, but I'd think about any other drugs you might be taking before suspecting that one, unless it's the only one you're taking. If you're taking any kind of antibiotic as well, that would be the more likely culprit, even if you've never had allergic reactions to it before. The only way to tell if it's the OxyContin is to stop taking it for a day or two and see ifthe rash starts to dissipate.
