well...not a wise thing to do as it does not make sense due to the fact that
corticosteroids are at highest level in the morning and in order to follow the natural cycle of secretion of these hormones in body it's better to take prednisolon(a corticosteroid) in the morning at 9 am (not on empty stomach).
Also a side effect of prednisolon could be insomnia so it's better to take it in the morning!
god bless united states! :)
prednisone is usually taken with breakfast every morning.
can you take Viagra while taken prednisone
yes
Prednisone is very hard on the stomach and may even cause ulcers if repeatedly taken on an empty stomach...it also causes insomnia so taking it early in the morning with breakfast may help reduce this effect
12-6-12-6 is one option, but prednisone should be taken with food, and the prescriber normally doesn't intend for you to interrupt your sleep to take it. For that reason, prednisone qid is most often taken with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack near bedtime. Talk to your prescriber or pharmacist for advice specific to your situation.
Preferably in the morning
That depends on how much you are taking. My guess would be that the doctor that prescribed them is trying to get some serious inflammation under control as prednisone is usually only taken in the morning with food.
no
usually they are taken together first thing in the morning.
i am asking you
I have MG. i am taking everyday prednisone, pyridostigmine. amlodipine, triamteren, omeprazole. is it safe to take metronidazole as well?
Benadryl is taken to suppress allergies, however Prednisone suppresses the immune system, and therefore your allergies as well. If you are on Prednisone, taking Benadryl is pointless because Prednisone is an infinitely stronger anti-allergen.
