My vet told me to give Pepcid twice a day also, helps the tummy handle any problems that the Previcox may present. Also , make sure you keep in touch with your vet and get the blood work done to see how the kidneys and liver handle the med. Have your dog get a good check up and talk to your vet about the use of Previcox. Let your vet know right away if you see any side effects. I have a GS dog almost 12. She is doing well on it but she gets a Pepcid twice a day to protect her tummy.
