Some people become hypomanic / manic when taking Wellbutrin, and Lamictal can help stabilize mood in this case.
Yes, when both are prescribed by the same doctor and all the precautions are checked for lamictal dosage, both can be take together.
Yes, any medication when used for an extended period of time is addictive.
Wellbutrin (bupropion), Lamictal (lamotrigine), and Lexapro (escitalopram) are not known for having significant anticholinergic effects. Wellbutrin primarily acts as a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, while Lamictal is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer. Lexapro, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), also has minimal anticholinergic properties. Overall, these medications are generally considered to have low to negligible anticholinergic activity.

Yes, there is no problem in taking those 2 drugs together. However, you might see a little bit more dizziness and drowsiness in taking the 2 drugs the same day, but is a normal effect and should get better with time.
Wellbutrin and Lexapro work on different brain chemistries. Wellbutrin works on the dopamine while Lexapro works on Seratonin. Ten mg of Lexapro is a small dose. Wellbutrin can be taken twice a day to prolong its efficacy in conjunction with the Lexapro taken once. This is a standad therapy.
I would recommend trying other medications in place of Adderall / concerta (i.e. Wellbutrin, Strattera, etc). Stimulant medications are linked to irritability in some people.
I take Lexapro 30 mg, Lamictal 200 mg and Wellbutrin XL 300 mg. I am doing fine and have few unpleasant side effects. Was treated with antidepressants exclusively until I had run through them all to the max dosages and was absolutely flat on my back out of my mind crazy. It took 6 months for us to get to this mix that is working great for me.
Combining Wellbutrin (bupropion) with Savella (milnacipran) should be done with caution and under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Both medications affect neurotransmitters in the brain, which could increase the risk of side effects or interactions. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting or combining medications to ensure safety and proper management of your health conditions.
Both wellbutrin and lamictal are central nervous system depressants and the use of these two drugs should be monitored when taken together. It is also important to recognize that the risk of unwanted effects may increase with use. Some possible side effects may include, ataxia, confusion, drowsiness, respiratory depression, and weakness. The benefits of the combined use of these two medications usually outweigh the risks. Timing and dosage play a factor in the interaction of the two. You should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
According to the literature, these two medications are safe together, and with someone taking Wellbutrin for depressive symptoms that has hypomanic / manic periods (common with bipolar disorder), Lamictal help stabilize the mood in order to decrease the risk of a manic episode. In my own experience, this combination caused severe neck and back pain to the point where I could not move my neck for a day (this was after taking the combination for 2-3 days, after I discontinued the Lamictal, the pain went away). I have read reports of a similar reaction in others. Also, it seemed to make my concentration worse (I was diagnosed as bipolar d/o, yet I don't have the manic phases.. I'm almost certain it's actually ADHD).
