accutane and concerta will both do damage to the liver, it is not advised to take both of these jointly for the possible magnification of hepatic cell damage, even with high dose of vitamin E to counteract some of the damage to the liver it is still an extremely high risk. Accutane and Concerta are both controlled substance for a reason, and such means extreme caution must be exhibited when taking not just one of these drug, but more when taking them together. Topical retinoids with Concerta would be less devastating to the body then with oral retinoid Accutane. I would advise you and your physician to exhaust topical retinoids before putting you on the oral isotretinoin, vary strength and vary type of retinoids in conjunction with antibiotic regiments might fix your problem, but if such have been exhausted, which is usually the reason why accutane begins to appear in treatment suggestions then I would first try do low dose Accutane, maybe 10mg, or 20mg, per day, and see how it fair with the Concerta. Or on the other hand maybe lowering the frequency or dosage of the concerta might fair well with the individual as well. In other word its sort of a trial and error thing when using these two together to limit the prevalence of side effects, its always better to start as low and possible and work your way up, for some side effects might be permanent, and the best way to avoid such is to be safe as possible with using low dosage before elevating to higher concentration of any of the two drug independently or together.

yes..i was prescribed and am taking celexa, welbutrin, and concerta all together celexa and welbutrin for depression concerta for adhd...
I have been on this combination for a year now (10 mg Lexapro, which I just upped to 20 mg) and 36 mg of Concerta. I can't see any large side effects to taking both together, except perhaps excess sweating. Take Concerta in the morning only, especially if you have trouble falling asleep at night.
i would not advise taking any concerta while taking lexapro. I am currently taking lexapro and have taken concerta about 7 times. Each time i took concerta i would hear many scary voices in my head. i looked up the psycotic effects of concerta and they said that a side effect of concerta is hearing voices if you are on an antidepressant
