There are drops available at the drugstore for tooth and gum pain. If you need something immediate, crush an aspirin, mix a drop or two of water and apply it like a cream or paste to the gum at the base of the tooth. Aspirin is an acid and will have a bad effect on your gums if you try to use it long term. You should only do this for temporary relief until you get to the dentist!
