If there is breakthrough bleeding four months after taking Yaz, it could be due to a dosage issue. It could also be caused by a pregnancy or health issue.
It is the blood generally caused when the female's vaginal membrane is broken by the penis.
This is what i found on this subject: "I'm on Yaz for 9 months now and i always start getting my period by the 3rd day of the placebo pill."
It can, but if you suspect a serious problem always talk to your health care provider.
Yaz, like any birth control pill, should be taken on the schedule shown in the packet, regardless of any bleeding.
It takes the body about three months to regulate itself to the hormones of birth control pills. So if you are within the first three months, you are most likely going to experience wonky bleeding and spotting. However, after the three months are over, your withdrawal bleeds (because you do not have periods while on hormonal birth control- you have chemically induced withdrawal bleeds) should even out to the 4 day placebo pills in Yaz.
I've been on yaz for 5 months and never miss a period
Bleeding for 2 weeks while on BCP is not normal. You most likely need to change your BCP brand to a different pill. Bleeding means you're not pregnant. Especially after bleeding for 2 weeks. See your Doctor hun.
If I recall correctly, Yaz does state that periodic spotting or bleeding is normal when you first start. Usually, this can apply for up to a year. If it seems abnormal to you, or should you still be concerned, give your gyno a call to make sure.
that is quite common. i had this problem for months because my birth control was ultra low dose (yaz). i switched to a regular low dose (yasmin) and the bleeding stopped and went back to a normal cycle. if you just started taking BC, keep doing it. if after three months the bleeding is still frequent, talk to your doctor. you may need a higher dose.
I've been on Yaz for 3 months and I've lost 5 pounds, doing excersize, so it doesnt make you loose or gain weight, its up to you.
I had the mirena inserted Oct 2012, but with that I had the bad luck of an ovarian cyst. I used Yaz for 6 months and the cyst disappeared. It made it's appearance again end of 2013 and the cyst had burst. You can use Yaz together with the mirena but not for long term.
I was on yaz for about 2 years and I stopped taking it about 4 months ago because it started giving me heart palpitations right out of the blue. I linked the two together because I went online and looked it up, I also found out my mood swings, anxiety, headaches and so forth were all from stupid yaz. Thanks FDA for your high standards!I have been having the worst fatigue ever since I stopped taking yaz. I am not sure if it has to do with my potassium level because yaz increases it. I am not sure but whatever you do DON'T TAKE YAZ!!!!!!
