There is no such thing as a 30mg Percocet™. There are, however, 30mg pills of which contain only oxycodone. The active ingredients in Percocet™ are acetaminophen (Tylenol™) and oxycodone. There are two variations (that I am aware of) containing strictly 30mg of oxycodone. 1.) An instant release version called Roxicodone™ manufactured by Roxane Laboratories. It's generic name is OXYCODONE I.R. (I.mmediate R.elease). 2.) A 12 hour extended release form called Oxycontin™ manufactured by Purdue Pharmaceuticals. It's generic name is OXYCODONE E.R. (E.xtended R.elease). Note that generic versions of Oxycontin™ are no longer being manufactured because of a patent lawsuit Purdue and various generic manufacturers. Appearance of these 30mg pills vary by manufacturer. For example: Mallinckrodts' generic 30mg OXYCODONE I.R. is small, circular, and scored with a imprint of a M inside a square on one side and the number 30 above the score on the top half of the pill on the other side. Ethexs' generic 30mg OXYCODONE I.R. is small and circular imprinted ETH on one side and 445 on the other side. Oxycodone is a semi synthetic opioid used to treatmoderate to severe pain. This drug is schedule 2 In the United States
