When you first go in- to a&e, they will ask what has happened, what you have taken and how much. then depending on the urgency they will either take you straight, or make you wait. If you are taken straight through you will have blood tests within like, half an hour and then get put on a drip. theyll then take you through to an observation ward, but if you're levels are high you may have to have your stomach pumped. You will have to stay in overnight, if not more, and see a psychologist to risk assess you and so on.
