ADDERALL OXYCODONE ANSWERAdderall is a stimulant used to treat ADHD or NARCOLEPSY. Oxycodone is a narcotic painkiller used to treat moderate to severe pain. Adderall is a mixture of the two "isomers" (same thing, just mirror images of each like your hands) of amphetamine and Oxycodone/Oxycontin is a narcotic that may slow down your respiratory system. Therefore, they have opposite affects however mixing these medications can be dangerous and you may get an additive affect leading to increased oxycodone in your system and respiratory depression. Adderall will increase your heart rate and therefore will increase the oxycodone in your system that could enhance the euphoric affects, lead to respiratory depression and in certain cases COULD BE FATAL depending on your dose, tolerance and other factors. It is important to discuss with your doctor or pharmacist.

If your doctor prescribed both to you, ASK him because this is not commonly done; usually adderall is prescribed by a doctor in a different field that specialize to treat conditions such as ADHD or Narcolepsy whereas a specialist such as a pain management doctor will treat chronic pain. Still there exceptions and there are doctors such as family doctors that may prescribe pain medication for acute pain and medications such as adderall. It is important to let all doctors know what medications you are being prescribed by your all your doctors to avoid drug/drugs interactions. Of course, also ask your pharmacist if there are any concerns for "drug/drug" interaction. This is extremely important because there are potentially many other medications not discussed here that may have an adverse affects too.
