Depends on what you give it for. For cough, 4 x 20 mg a day for an adult seems a reasonable upper limit. For pain, this would generally not be enough, but the side effects (terrible constipation) are quite strong and another painkiller would normally be chosen in view of this. Codeine is also a dependency-inducing drug so is not freely vailable.
dose gabapentin has codeine in it
approximately 200mg codeine for similar effects to 30mg oral morphine (not IV!)
Nurofen plus has 15mg maybe 12mg of codeine and ibuprofen in each pill and it's OTC in nz panadeine extra has 15mgs but that's panadol... In nz that's the max OTC opiate lol hope this helped
talk to your doctor. you are looking for a low dose of oxycodone or hydrocodone, like brand name percocet or vicodin
Well you can have an over dose and go into a deep sleep or you may die
There is a medication manufactured in the UK, named Solpadeine Max. Solpadeine Max is an OTC (in the UK) medication containing 500 mg of Acetaminophen, plus 12.5 mg of Codeine Sulphate Hemihydrate. It is OTC in the UK, but in the US, medication containing Codeine requires a prescription. I have been unable to locate any comparable medication in the US.
Yes, this is a safe combination, with a caveat. Most individuals are heavily sedated for the initiation of mirtazapine treatment. This effect usually disappears as the patient adjusts to the mirtazapine. If you still find a powerful sedative effect from mirtazapine, you should be advised to keep the dose of codeine low. If you are adjusted to the sedative effect, you can safely take whatever dose of codeine your doctor advised.
Only if you are courting death.
what is the difference between percocet and fiorocet?
max dose with beneficial effects. anything more could be harmful

Well prn means "as required" and po usually means "orally". i cant really comment on the dosage as i don't know what strength your medicine is. Just bare in mind that there is normally a max dose of 240mg of codeine per 24 hour period, for a normal healthy adult.
