Valtrex (valacyclovir hydrochloride) has a nominal shelf life of three years. There might be some variation among generics, but there should be no reason for it being different for the non-Glaxo products. Nominal storage requirements apply, of course, and note that just because the product might be "expired" per the date code, that doesn't mean it isn't still effective.
