as far as i know, the best treatment for streptococcus is penicillin - but, if you're breastfeeding, better think about amoxicillin (500 mg two times a day for 5-7 days), which is harmless to the baby. the best thing is to have the sensitivity of your streptococcus checked for various antibiotics - see your GP/gynecologist for this.
