The dosage is actually 10/325, and you're referring to Percocet. If not labled as such, it's likely labled as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen. It's a combination drug and the dosage numbers refer to the amount in milligrams of each drug in the pill.
The first number (10) indicates the amount of Oxycodone in the pill - 10mg, which is the strongest dose currently available. The second number (325) is the amount of Acetaminophen (Tylenol) in the pill in milligrams. 325 is currently the lowest amount of Tylenol available with Percocet at that dosage level.
I've personally been using Percocet 10/325 for over 9 years.
No
See the comments below
The test is for the compound itself, and they would both show up in the same test. The latter would additionally show up in a test for acetaminophen, if anyone were to bother testing for that.
Yes it has the exact amount in them> A oxycodone is the gerneric for a percocet I am 100% sure the best ones are endo the yellow ones 10-325 the watsons are very very hard to get rid of that why i always get endo a oxy contin is a totally stonger pain killermess with them you will get strung out fast.
No, both are analgesic.. but they're not "equivalent" in efficiency.. oxycodone, at the same dosage, is twice more powerful than morphine. 10 mg morphine = 5 mg oxycodone.
They should.
Oxycodone and oxycodone-acetaminophen (often referred to by its brand name, Percocet) are not the same. Oxycodone is an opioid pain medication, while oxycodone-acetaminophen combines oxycodone with acetaminophen, a non-opioid analgesic, to enhance pain relief. The "5-325" indicates the dosage, with 5 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen in each tablet. Therefore, oxycodone-acetaminophen contains both active ingredients, whereas oxycodone alone does not.
For the same dosage pill, these drugs would be equivalent, as both contain oxycodone hydrochloride as their active ingredient.
Yes, both Oxycodone HCl 30 mg tablets and Roxicodone 30 mg tablets contain the same active ingredient, oxycodone hydrochloride, at the same dosage strength of 30 mg. Roxicodone is a brand name for oxycodone immediate-release tablets.
No, morphine sulfate isn't the same as percocet.. which contains acetaminophen and oxycodone. At equivalent dosage and on a person who never took them before, oxycodone is 2 times more powerful than morphine.
Take one to two tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed do not exceed 8 tablets
Depending on dosage, but can be. If you are on this much at one time, get a new doctor.
