The cannabis plant is Photosensitive. It requires certain light cycles to induce flowering. In nature, cannabis flower in the fall after the long hot days of summer turn into shorter days. To induce flowering in an indoor setting where you control the light, simply set your timer so that it's on a 12/12 cycle. 12 on and 12 off. You should see signs of flower within two weeks maybe longer. In order for this to work properly there must not be any light pollution during the dark hours or your plants will do funky things that you don't want to happen.
Smoking male cannabis plants does not produce the desired psychoactive effects as much as smoking female plants. Male plants contain lower levels of cannabinoids, such as THC, that are responsible for the "high" associated with cannabis. Most users prefer to smoke or consume products made from female plants for their higher cannabinoid content.
Yes, male cannabis plants do produce cannabinoids, but typically in much lower concentrations than female plants. While male plants primarily focus on producing pollen for reproduction, they still contain some THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids. However, they are generally less desirable for cannabis cultivation intended for medicinal or recreational use, which usually prioritizes female plants for their higher cannabinoid content.
