Adderall causes receptors on your neurotransmitters to "stand up" causing an increase of dopamine and seratonin absorption in your body. When adderall wears off these receptors start to bend over again and your nerves are not being stimulated as much causing a temporary feeling of tiredness until your body readjusts to the lower amount. Adderall also increases your heart rate so when it wears off blood is being pumped slower through your body and less oxygen is reaching your muscles, so they feel tired as well until they readjust. In addition, Adderall is a catabolic drug, which basically means that it requires your body to use more energy, so your body is also receiving less energy when it wears off. Not too much to worry about from a physical standpoint, this phenomena is more commonly refered to as a "crash." However, if you have been taking Adderall for a while and the effects of the crash have not lessened you might want to consider talking to your prescriber about lowering your dosage.
So tired that I take generic adderall to combat this.
Adderall is not a hallucinogenic drug, so not feeling anything after taking it once is quite normal.
There are many possibilities, but one is that the Concerta dose is two high for you. You should speak to your doctor about this. There are many other reasons you might be tired.
If you have ADHD it's far more likely that caffeine will help you focus and not make you tired. HOWEVER, drinking lots of caffeine will make you dehydrated which will definitely make you feel exhausted. Putting another stimulant into the mix may increase the dehydration, but you may not know until you try it. Personally, I can still have some caffeine with my Adderall, but I have to do so in moderation or the stimulant effect compounds to the point of overstimulation.
No; Adderall will not change the way a breathalyzer test is registered. Adderall can cause a person intoxicated to feel less so, but the test will register the amount of alcohol in your breath accurately. You may feel more sober, but you will not be legally and according to the test.
Yes. Sometimes Adderall will cause you to focus so much that you become fixated on insignificant details. This will actually hinder your productivity and make you feel a little "spacy." Avoid caffeine and any other stimulants when taking Adderall. These things are not a good mix with Adderall and can make your brain feel numb rather than clear and efficient.
because you are so run down and tired
The answer to this question means feeling tired or confused.
Yes its normal. Its most likely the position the baby is laying in which is causing you to feel achy and his/her constant movement in your tummy is probably making you feel tired. However its VERY common to become anemic during pregnancy so see your doctor.
We are like phones. If we do too much of something such as playing sports, all of a sudden you start to not feel too well and feel tired. So if you take a rest or nap or sleep, then you will feel energized again.
