The price of generic Adderall can be influenced by several factors, including limited competition among manufacturers, varying production costs, and the complexities of the pharmaceutical supply chain. Additionally, if there are regulatory hurdles or patent issues that restrict market entry for other generic producers, prices may remain high. Furthermore, the demand for ADHD medications can drive up costs, especially if there are shortages. These factors combined can contribute to the overall expense of generic Adderall.
So tired that I take generic adderall to combat this.
No. Citalopram is a generic name for Celexa.
At Cvs in maryland, I pay about $7 for a prescription of generic adderall. That's with insurance and all.
By definition, Adderall is NOT a generic. Adderall is the trade name given to a specific formulation of amphetamine salts. There is a generic form of Adderall, usually called "Amphetamine salts." Just like Coke is not an off-brand cola, but there is off-brand cola.
Yes. It will say it in its generic form "Amphetamine salts"
Adderall XR lasts longer. The XR stands for extended release and lasts around 8-12 depending on the consumer, mg, & tolerance. Generic Adderall which is actually Adderall IR (Instant Release) only lasts for a few hours (about 4 depending on the mgs) because Adderall XR is made from 2 different "beads" which one type releases automatically n the other type releases in about 4 hours so in the end Adderall xr lasts about 8 - 12 hours. When you pay for the Adderall XR you are paying for the extended release feature. SO Adderall XR lasts longer than Adderall IR.
Generic Adderall (10mg blue pill) is currently around $1.40/pill, so I would imagine XR 30mg might be around $2-3/pill?
At this time Adderall has a patent on their extended release pills. I'm not sure when the patent is up, but as of now, no other company is allowed to produce a generic form of Adderall extended relief.
I would imagine Adderall is. I never took Ritalin, but I believe that's the generic form of Addy's.
It's already available generically.
a walgreens drugstore and ask if they have it
Shire is the original maker of Adderall until their patent expired. Then TEVA and BARR stepped in, but their version is lacking critical ingredients, so the *Generic* version of Adderall is not as effective and in some cased creates more problems with the people who are on it versus the original Adderall by Shire Pharmaceuticals.
