Ringworm is no joke! Get to a doctor and get a prescription for an antifungal. Be sure to get an antifungal shampoo . . . ringworm can result in spotty baldness if left untreated. My favorite treatment is the prescription SelSun shampoo. It obviously treats the hair, but it is good as a dab-on ointment. BUT, do not mess around with regular off-the-shelf SelSun AND make sure the doctor says OK for use on a toddler. Selsun contains selenium, which can be poisonous. The doctor may prefer a drug that is safer for kiddies.
