I'm pretty sure that your bleeding is one of the more common side effects of several ssri's including wellbutrin/zyban.
In larger doses in some people certain ssri's are known to cause brain bleeds( hemmoraging ), uterine bleeding (of the uterus)... and other such bleeds like nose bleeds.
You may get dark stools due to gastrointestinal bleeds from these types of meds as well.
Bruising and bleeding is interrelated. People who take anticoagultents(warfin, cumaden& others) tend to bruise very easy as an example of other types of drugs that may cause bleeding and bruising.
My recommendation is to take a few supplements to increase your levels of Vitamin K...
Alfalfa is great for starters. In powder or pill form is best for therapeutic levels of Vitamin k intake. Find a multi-Vitamin that contains IRON. Today due to toxicity and over dosing, many brands of multi-vitamins no longer carry iron. Women and post surgical types, and bleeders need iron added to their diet.
You can also for a short period eat high levels of red meat, just make sure its lean, ground round or ground serloin. This has protein, and Iron.
Vitamin C helps with the absorption of iron, Drink no less than 2 8oz glasses of Fortified apple juice, or Orange Juice, or cranberry cocktail/juice/drink
Or any juice that contains HI levels of Vitamin C. Or u could always use pill/tabs of vitamin C or powder.
Calcium is very important. If your bleeding Calcium is being lost. Most Americans are low in calcium anyway. Make sure your taking no less than 1200 mg a day. In conjunction with vitamin D. Make sure you consume no less than 1000IU Vit D. a day during the winter period. The best natural source is the SUN, but that's hard to do for some people. One hour of sun a day during warmer periods on exposed flesh is best for generating Vitamin D in adequate levels. If you live in Hi Lats, or in poor weather climates, or do not go out, or are afraid of damage via sun/uv then you MUST take a good supplement. Make sure it is only vitamin D... and not some vitamin A&D mix. One teaspoon a day of cod liver oil is the bare minimum level i would recommend.
More than 90% of Americans do not get this much vitamin D during the winter. 5000 IU supplements can be found cheaply on eBay/puritan cvs/Walgreen's on sale.
Bruises themselves are generally not fatal, as they are simply a result of blood vessels breaking under the skin due to trauma. However, if a bruise is indicative of a more serious underlying injury, such as internal bleeding or trauma to vital organs, it can pose life-threatening risks. Prompt medical attention is crucial if a bruise is accompanied by severe pain, swelling, or other concerning symptoms. In rare cases, certain medical conditions that cause easy bruising can lead to serious complications.

A bruise appears when there is bleeding under the top layer of the skin. Bleeding under the skin usually occurs when small blood vessels tear at the site of an injury. Causes for easy bruising include the following: Taking blood thinners such as heparin or warfarin. Drinking large amounts of alcohol. Too little vitamin C in the diet. Certain liver and kidney diseases. Not enough platelet cells in the blood, or platelet cells that don't work normally. Some prescription medications, over the counter medications (including aspirin and ibuprofen), and herbal remedies can make you bruise more easily because they interfere with normal platelet function. Blood vessels become fragile and break more easily as people age. Persons with inherited bleeding disorders such as hemophilia or von Willebrand's disease often bruise easily because they don't have normal amounts of one or more of the proteins necessary for normal blood clotting. When should I worry about having a lot of bruises? You should talk to your health care provider about bruising if you have the following conditions: If you frequently have bruises but you have not had an injury or bump at the site of the bruise. If you frequently have bruises with lumps under them. If you have family members who have an inherited bleeding disorder, such as hemophilia or von Willebrand's Disease. If you have other problems with bleeding such as frequent nosebleeds that are hard to control, more bleeding than expected after surgery, childbirth, or having a tooth pulled, or if you are a woman and have heavy bleeding with your menstrual periods.
Depending how hard you put the needle in. But seriously folks. Some heart medication side effects include easy bruising. My Uncle had many bruises appear when He first started taking them. Check WEBMD. Great source for questions on medications
Yes, but take it easy on the concentrates. Heavy BHO or hash use can cause more bleeding episodes, but you would need a LARGE amount to do any damage.
It bruises because it has a thin layer of skin and it is easy for the blood vestals to break or get a split in them so a bruise forms.
It can cause mild bleeding and easy bruising. It may cause problems with pregnancy but I would consult the doctor to take a full blood count and find out what type you have. It may go away over time.
People who do can have von Willebrand's disease that causes easy bruising. It's related to hemophilia. If you are Anemic this can happen too.
fibrinogen plays an important role in clotting factor. if the increase of fibrinogen can cause stroke to most patients because it can cause blockage to a vein or artery, then surely a low fibrinogen level can possibly cause hemorrhage, the blood will be diluted without this fibrinogen.
A practice csi test is available to download from education websites. How easy they are depends on the individual, but an online practice csi test is a useful learning tool to prepare the student for their exams.
