Like with most drugs, the effects of making general 'changes' are based much on the individual. The answer to this question could vary based on several variables. For example, it depends on how long you have been using the stimulant, at what dosage you have been taking it, by what method you have been taking it, and whether you are a 'socially legitemate' user (ie. for ADHD). The general answer is, not really. You'll likely notice it but sick probably isn't the right word. Many feel very lethargic and missed sleep from days on the drug will hit you like a wall of bricks.... Don't plan on attending any weddings or getting anything 'heavy' done on the day you decide to 'take a break'.

Medications like Adderall contain amphetamines. In some states Desoxyn(methamphetamine) is prescribed. So obviously children could abuse or become dependent on the medication. However, if doses are followed strictly as prescribed this is very unlikely. I personally skip my doses some weekends just to prevent dependence, and it also helps keep tolerance low, so doses don't have to be increased. It can also cause insomnia, especially if take late in the day. It also suppresses appetite, so your child may not get necessary nutrients. To combat this make sure your child gets lot of healthy foods like veggies, fruit, and lean meat and multi-vitamins may be an option to consider.
when you too stressed you can skip your periods
