Taking 200 milligrams of morphine after having taken half of a Suboxone the previous day can lead to complex interactions. Suboxone, which contains buprenorphine, can block the effects of morphine due to its partial agonist properties. Additionally, individual tolerance and metabolism play a significant role in how one might feel the effects of morphine. It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice regarding medication interactions and safety.
NO...I've been on suboxone for two years. It's ok, but when you cheat and try and take painkillers, etc it has no effect. This stuff trully blocks it. I was even in the hospital and had a shoot of morphine and it barley made a dent. (broke my nose) I've been thinking of switching to methadone-becuase I just can't stop fighting the cravings. So, my answer is no, suboxone does nothing to make you feel any different.
According to Suboxone.com (see Related Link below), "certain antidepressants" can interact badly with Suboxone/Subutex. And which antidepressants interact badly may possibly vary from person to person. But certainly many antidepressants, for the majority of people, are fine. I'm actually taking three different antidepressants, along with Suboxone: Wellbutrin, Lexapro and Remeron.
Yeah you can definetly use the opiates the next today and it'll probably make you feel like the 2nd or 3rd time you've ever used
That depends on whether you are taking the morphine recreationally (to get high), or if you are taking it for pain. If you are taking it to get high, then no, it won't work. You will have to wait at least 36 hours, but probably more like 48 to 72 hours, until the Suboxone is out of your system, before you can feel the effects of the morphine. If you are taking it for pain, then yes, it should still work as a painkiller, even though it won't get you high.
No, you will not get sick. As long as the Suboxone is out of your system you will not feel any withdrawal symptoms.
I definitely don't feel the effects of alcohol as much on Suboxone, much like other opioid medications act. If I do feel a little hung over, the Sub seems to help me feel better.
It is used to dull pain.
suboxone has a long halflife about 23hours. day one you will feel no other opiates. day two you will feel them kick in then the suboxone stopping the opiate from working. day three you can begin to feel the full effect of other opiates. be careful not to take more trying to feel the other opiates. eventhough suboxone has naloxone in it, you can still overdose.
yes, i feel better after
I do not think so. I cannot see any reason why it would. I do not feel any effects off of Suboxone really. No "high" that is for sure. Best person to ask would be the doctor that prescribes you your Suboxone.
No, you will get very sick.
Morphine causes a reaction to receptors in the brain causing you to feel dizzy, sleepy and even euphoric.
