It's not really an issue of safety but instead practicality. The suboxene works by seeking out and adhering to,therefore blocking the bodies opiate receptor cells and does so for 1-3 days depending on your body weight,activities and metabolism.You can take all the HYDROCODONE you want but you won't feel them because it wants to bind to the same sites (opiate receptors) that the suboxene is already blocking off.Odd course it slowly wears off but the half life of suboxene is relatively high meaning it will still be working (although to a lesser extent) for 2 to 3 days..cosiderably more then the 26 hours you inquired about.

Just from my experience on 4 mg of suboxone after just a one day dose... i know that i can get a "full" effect from oxycodone when waiting 12 hours after my sub dose. I can get close to the full effect at 10 hours after the sub. And i experienced a mild, probably half effect when only waiting 9 hours after the suboxone. Keep in mind, that's after just a single suboxone dose. also, those effects are reached only by iv use. any other way isn't going to cut it. honestly, you're just gonna have to try and see what happens because it varies for everyone(i have a friend who takes a sub every morning, then enjoys 60mg of oxy 3 hours later? go figure) start with the 12 hour wait or longer.
