well the year cannot be 1792 because that would be after the colonist's declared independence from Britain so there would be no need to share news about them. But he did organize the Sons Of Liberty, a secret society to share news about the british before and during the Revolution. Also the commitees of correspondance which different towns all across the 13 colonies would write letters to one another about British affairs.
Hope this helps!

No, the quartering act is when people in Boston had to share their house with the redcoats.
Taxes were imposed on the colonists for economical reasons. The economy of the American colonies was so robust that England wanted a share of the profits.
Colonists paid a disproportionate share of taxes.
even though Britain owed a very large amount of money from the french and Indian war, they also had to pay big time the colonies back for housing the soldiers throughout the war. The colonists started to get angry when they kept not paying up, and then the British not only tried to make THE COLONISTS pay for some with taxes, but made THE COLONISTS pay for british defense too.

At this point int time, the colonists and Britain had a vastly different social structure, not to mention other things. Parliament simply did not share the colonists' interests. The colonists wanted to be represented by those who shared their interests, but when Parliament refused (arguing in favor of "virtual representation"), the Revolution ensued.

They were called Committees of Correpondence and were set up in the major cities of each colony, in order to share information on British activities and the responses by the colonists.
It is because the colonists were taxed without having a representation in parliment. So they think it is not fair.
