His interests knew no bounds, ranging from physics and astronomy, to chemistry, Biology, and geology, to architecture and naval technology; he collaborated or corresponded with scientists as diverse as Christian Huygens,Antony van Leeuwenhoek, Christopher Wren, Robert Boyle, and Isaac newton.
Robert Hooke, i'm doin da puzzle 2 :), :]
the main generals of the civil war are 1.General Robert E Lee 2.General P.G.T Beauregard 3.General Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson
National interests took priority over international interests.
J. Robert Oppenheimer
2. 1997 and 1998.
The term "cell" was first coined by English scientist Robert Hooke in 1665 when he observed the structure of a cork under a microscope and thought the small compartments resembled cells in a monastery.
yes he did he had 2 Brothers, and 2 Sisters
Go 2 google nd ull find it :D
umm... you must be a 7th grader 2
Robert Hooke, i'm doin da puzzle 2 :), :]
1.Anton Van Leeuvenhoek 2.Robert Hooke 3.Robert Browne 4.Purkinje 5.Matthias Schleiden 6.Schwann
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek and Robert Hooke are credited with inventing the microscope. Van Leeuwenhoek is known for making significant advancements in microscope design and for his observations of microorganisms, while Hooke is credited with coining the term "cell" based on his microscopic observations of plant tissue.
Robin Hooke
He did not. The Microscope was invented by Leuwenhoek, a Dutch Lens Grinder in the mid l7Th century in Delftt, a humorous poem was written about it. the original model used compound lenses and had a high magnification of 300 X. Robert Hooke may have made improvements on microscopes, as a hobby manufacturer implied with a kit of Hooke"s microscope circa l962, but he did not Invent the instrument.
Here are the four I learned about just a few weeks ago, off my science textbook: 1.)Robert Hooke 2.)Anton van Leeuwenhoek 3.)Matthias Schleiden 4.)Theodor Schwann Hope this helps!
Keith Martin and Robert Baxter.
he was famous for discovering cellsAnd famous for creating laws about elasticityHe's most famous for creating laws about elasticity. See the link below. And hes famous for discovering the parts of cells.Robert Hooke is known for completing the experiment of using a microscope that magnified 30 times. Based on hims finding it was then created the cell theory that has two basic ideas:1. All organisms are made of one or more cells.2. All new cells come from other cells.Note: When cells reach a certain size it splits in two, it has to make another nucleus and make new copies of organelles in the cytoplasm. This takes up energy and nutrients. When the cell is ready to divide it puckers around the middle and separates into two almost even halves. They have become two almost identical cells. This process is called cell divisionThe literal meaning of organelles is little organs, they do the work of the cell.Robert Hooke was a scientist that was observing a piece of cork that had started cell theory, and he was the inventor of the best microscope of his time. And he called it cells because it looked like the rooms monks would live in.
