It was the end of 1965, and Robert Taylor, a Defense Advanced Research Planning Agency (DARPA) shot caller was frustrated. He was a computer user who had first hand experience with the frustration of linking multiple computers (and who clearly saw the problems), and he tagged Larry G. Roberts over at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory to come over to Defense. It was Roberts who created the first functioning long-distance computer networks in 1965. He also designed the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), the seed from which the modern Internet grew, in 1966. It was ARPANET that was the first computer network.
The Patriots wanted a revolutionary war because they believed the colonies were not treated fairly by the British crown.

The greatest technology ever is believed to be the computer. There are other inventions that have come up later on but none seem to surpass the achievements of computers.
As computers the first home computers were horrible, they had almost no memory and almost no storage, they had very limited and slow CPUs, etc. In fact many people in high positions in the computer industry of the time considered them useless, impractical, and "just toys" and believed they were a dead end and that market was not worth entering. However they successfully brought the computer into a new market that the more expensive and powerful "real computers" of the time could never have entered.

Computers do not cause problems; the human operators of computers cause problems. Though if you need an answer; in the beginning there were many concerns about computers and the Internet making libraries obsolete, and or literature altogether… And of course there will be future concerns such as advanced cyber terrorism, and of course there was Y2K, when people believed that computers would crash due to the turn of the centuries effect on the computer clocks... (It's moe complicated than that, but you get the point) but that's another question altogether… I hope I was able to answer a question and help you in some way, your question is very vague and therefore much more difficult to answer…
