Some times what happens is that if you have a virus infected file and you dont know it once you try to delete it will keep restoring back on your computer. These type of viruses use a tracking cookie which can keep track of what you do and what sites you browse through you computer I suggest you should just run a system scan once with any anti virus software

How can you review the history of the internet on computer after the history file has been deleted?

If you have a Java platform on your computer, some items are saved in a separate history there, so you may be able to find what you are looking for. Files are also saved in a "Temporary Internet Files" folder on the computer, which, as long as you didn't erase it while you were deleting the history, you might be able to find what you were looking for by starting there. I'm not a computer expert by any means, so there's probably a good deal more to this; however, I noticed no one has answered yet, so I thought I'd give it a try. Note: Whatever expertise I do possess is limited to PCs; I have very limited knowledge of Macs. Where do I find the temp internet files

What does a file shredder actually do?

A file shredder, is a program to completely remove a filefrom a hard drive or any Magnetic and Solid-State Memory device. But what does actually do?It overwrites the portion on the hard drive that was previously allocated to the designated file with carefully selected patterns or junk data of different lengths, (depending on the sofware you are using), it changes the file's attributes, such as the file's name, its date stamp and its modification time several times. For windows file shredders, after this process has been made several times, the file is deleted the way Windows understands it, i.e. the listing of that file is removed from the Windows registry and the first character in the file allocation (FAT) table is overwritten to signal other applications that the disk space is now available for further use.

Can deleting zip files harm your computer?

No. There is no problem in deleting zip files. They are just left behind after file downloads. .zip files are compressed archives, containing 1 or more files. Deleting a .zip file will not harm your computer, as they are not system files. If you delete a .zip file, all you will lose is the files contained within. If you have already extracted the files, or if you no longer need them, they are perfectly safe to delete.

When you delete a save file from an R4 in the computer where does it go?

Technically it doesn't 'go' anywhere, all 'deleting' a file does is set the computer to not see it anymore, and allow that data to be overwritten. If that data is not overwritten, it is still there, and can be recovered by 'undeleter' software.
