I can think of several things a knight would have. Some are a horse, a suit of armor, a sword, a lance, and shield. Knights were nobles and only nobles could be knights.
There is no one term for that, a brave solider would be a knight, or a squire.
I should imagine the correct term,'for a female knight,' is DAME! Such a one is Dame Vera Lynn!
One obvious way to kill a knight was with another better trained knight. Bows, crossbows, javelins and other projectile weapons were a severe weakness of any close combatant, one key reason why they adopted the use of expensive heavy armour. One way to kill a knight in close combat is to use weapons not in his range, for example a knight using a longsword (a two-handed blade) is less effective in tight areas than a knight with an arming sword (single-handed sword) or better still one using a dagger. If the opponent was using a sword, then a polearm would outrange that and keeping distance would ensure victory, whilst an opponent with a polearm would struggle in the range that an arming sword uses. Siege weapons such as trebuchets, ballistae and cannon were also effective long term against defending knights.
A Norman knight would have a large sword, a mace and often a lance.
He was not a noble. Knights were always nobility.

They would need to show to a ruler that they have achieved something very high. The ruler would then take the soon to be knight's sword, make the soon to be knight get on one knee, and the ruler would pat the sword on his shoulders and give him a title. Then the one that showed great ability would become a knight.

To become a knight, one would need armor such as a helmet, breastplate, gauntlets, and greaves for protection in battle. Additionally, a knight would need a sword, shield, and possibly a lance for combat. Training in horsemanship and combat skills would also be essential.
Carry the knight's equipament, aid the knight in daily life and in battle too if needed, basiclly a serveant, he had to learn all he could from the knight, cause one day he would become a knight himself.
