In the technology and innovation life cycle Analysis would come before Design, as a system would need to be analyzed before it is improved or re-designed, think about how a paper database (for example a video rental store writing down which customer borrowed what video) would be computerized and the reasons why it would be (inefficiency being chief here) and you will understand.
The immediate cause of World War I, the Great War, was the assassination of Archduke Franz Feerdinand of the Austro-Hungarioan Empire by a Serbian nationalist in June, 1914, in Sarajevo, Bosnia. The underlying causes were nationalism, imperialism, militarism, and the alliance systems. The alliance systems then in effect caused the other major nations to enter the war. Austria-Hungary wanted to punish Serbia for the assassination. Germany was an ally of Austria-Hungary and gave Austria the famous "blank check" to punish Serbia and Germany would back up its ally. Serbia looked to Russia for support. When Russia would not back down, Germany declared war on Russia. Russia had a defensive treaty with England and France. When Germany declared war on Russia, France and England honored their treaty. As to who is most responsible, that would be determined by the victors. According to the Treaty of Versailles which ended the war, Germany had to admit to causing the Great War. See the following for more information. http://hometown.aol.com/we4amhis/ww1index.html MrV
