Actually, we are all related to ONE original person (which eventually became a group). Blue eyes are a mutation (or an adaptation), this particular one had to start with a single person. Perhaps when our species began to migrate north this change began to happen (less sun= less melanin so we became fairer skined and the color of our eyes lightened). But yes all people are related one way or another.
