Elections my friend are rather boring & long. if i wanted to watch old guys arguing over the same country i would go to an old folks home. but in answer to them being positivly charged i think that politicians take time to think of s****y speeches that dont mean s**t to anyone. I know of personal experience from John Howard.

Why does potassium find it easier to react then lithium?

Lithium is in period 2 and potassium is in period 4.Since potassium is in a higher period, it has more shells for electrons to lie in and therefore the valance electrons (electrons in the outer shell) are further away from the positively charged nucleus. Because of the weaker electrostatic forces between the electrons and nucleus, it is easier for the electrons to be given away and hence why it is more reactive than lithium.

How do you find the number of protons if you already know the number of electrons and neutrons?

In stable atoms, number of protons = number of electrons. In positively-charged ions, number of protons = number of electrons + charge of the ion. In negatively-charged ions, number of protons = number of electrons - charge of the ion. Hope this helped! NO THATS A COMPLETE LIE. all you have to do is split the atom and look inside of it.

Is it a bold faced lie or bare faced lie?

Either one.Or...I always heard it as a "Bald faced lie. properly "BOLD FACED LIE" as when newspapermen would try to affect the outcome of elections; back when people got their news only by Newspaper and word of mouth. The news paper would print an untrouth in BOLD headlines; knowing it could not be refuted till it was too late.
