Bushido was the code of conduct for Samurai similar to the precepts of Knighthood for European Knights. It is above and beyond training, handling weapons, horsemanship, etc.

The Samurai were more than just mere warriors. They lived their lives by accepting the simple fact that they could die at any moment. Samurai lived by the Bushido code.

they were actually really big jerks. They were very evil, infact if a peseant looked at them wrong they would chop their head off. _____ The above is partially correct, though obviously not quite impartial or useful. The samurai lived by a very strict code of honour called Bushido. It should be noted however, that this code of honour had less to do with acting honourably towards others than it did with preserving one's own honour, or face. For example, any samurai could kill any non-samurai at any time, and would be responsible only to his daimyo (lord) as to the necessity of the act. Failure to show proper respect in speech or actions (not bowing low enough, for example), would be a direct insult to the samurai's honour, which would not be tolerated and the offender put to death. Other than this, the samurai were just people, and just as trapped in the rigid class system of feudal Japan as everyone else was.
First of all, we'd have to consider whether or not the Samurai (Japanese) paid any attention whatsoever to the writings of Confucious (Chinese). If they did, then we could say they rejected Confucianism probably because the Samurai were very militaristic by nature - kind of like the U. S. Marine Corps of ancient Japan. Confucianism has little that is militaristic or aggressive in any aspect of it's teachings. The Samurai likely looked at Confucianism as "wimpy" - if they looked at it at all.
When a card refers to a 'Six Samurai' monster, it means any monster with the words "Six Samurai" in the name. Therefore those cards will affect monsters such as Hand of the Six Samurai, and the 'Legendary Six Samurai' monsters.
