Answer Both. Eye-Hand coordination is very important to developing children and that is an advantage. However, Eye-Hand coordination is rivaled by violence. For example, an FPS (First-Person-Shooter) will better a person's abilities with controllers, which may help that person later in life if they have a job requiring them to control a machine, fly a plane, etc. But if that game has suggestive themes, drugs, gore, violence, and so on, the child may imitate it. The two Columbine Killers started a site based around DOOM, a viciously bloody game with an array of guns and other weapons. People believe that this game affected the way they thought, resulting in their massacre. However, some parents do not care about what their child plays, sometimes leading to a violent child.

Bad things can happen but still. Kids can learn how to think more, to use the things they got, and learn to defend them selves
