There is a lot of chatter about we do not possess the technology required to build a pyramid today. I saw a magazine from 1921 showing how they thought it could be done. First build the pyramid from concrete rather than stone.

The alignment of the Great Pyramid is surprsingly accurate but not so difficult as it might seem, if you have a knowledge of astromony which the Ancient Egyptians did. Line it up with the Pole Star. Im sure we could do the same or line it up using data from a geo-location satelite.

One thing we lack is the will which the ancient Egyptians had in bucket loads. I dont think anyone would want to build a tomb for our current crop of leaders. There is also the matter of cost and building regulations. The pharaoh had masses of free labour which cost him little more than their food.
