This is due to a fairly common but surprisingly unknown pathogen, known as Hepadnaviruses (check out the wiki page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepadnaviridae) These are quite dangerous, as they can cause liver infections. These are much more potent when on adults, as they can cause hormonal build up and because of this, in one in five cases, genital disfunction. The reason that we don't refreeze lasagne is that these viruses are found to culminate on starch based products - i.e. your lasagne. The primary freezing of these viruses will deactivate them, however if they are heated and cooled more than this, they can be reactivated through the temperature change. You can be immune to strains that have been digested before, due to their initial deactive state, however it is strongly advised to avoid this as you can cause serious illness.
