Columbus had only one stop in the 32 days he was at sea. He landed on an island called Hispaniola and then went back to Spain. This is was NOT a major voyage compared to others and he made no major discoveries.
Christopher Columbus made his first stop on his voyage at the Canary Islands. Columbus sailed for the first time in August of 1492 and reached the Caribbean in October of 1492. He stopped at the Canary Islands on the voyage in September of 1492.
