Jack Jouett, an American patriot, carried out a "Revere" type ride. In the year 1781 he rode hard and fast to warn Jefferson of a British attact.
I would say yes he sounded like most everyone else in Boston at that time. If comparing it to the modern day version of the Boston accent though, the answer would surely be no. Paul Revere was born in Boston in 1734 and was already a grown man by the time America gained her independence.
