Actually your answer is not even close to being right the definition of the northwest passage is- A water route to Asia through the cold waters present day canada. I cant belive i no this by heart and im only in 7th grade but i am learning from a 10th grade book dont belive me the look up this book and the reading leval and questions leaval the book is called PRENTICE HAll UNited States History Discovery education ^_^haha
