However, the most heart renching of all is for certain: Arthur killed 39 infant baby boys. Yep, that's right. (Technically, he did not kill them all personally. Originally, he ordered that they be brought to him, so that only his own hands would be bloodied by the deed, but the Knight Anguselus took it upon himself to share in his liege's crime, insisting that if the king's hands were bloodied, then so were all who served him.)
