The answer to this question is a bit " OK that's kind of weird " but here is the answer. Anne's Father knew a German Friend and he said that they could stay in his Attic that is where they found the secret Annexe (i think) but so they hid there for 25 months and on August 4th 1944 Hitler and his crew found Anne and the family
