The Normans won The Battle of Hastings, as King Harold his eye got shot with an arrow then the Normans finished him of by staping him with a sword. That is to say the Normans won with a little bit of luck.

yes, richard gave henry time to prepare, whilst henry triumphed across France, the french gave henry mercenaries and knights. then whilst henry VII went across the sea to Wales, his homeland, he also gained 4000 men approx.

then richard's men, became cowardly, they ran and attacked henry's men, failing.

this costed richard. THE BATTLE OF HASTINGS!

think for a moment, if the french never gave henry those mercanries then he could of lost the battle, or if he never obtained the boat.
