okay say i was king George III and you were the colonist and we lived in England so i told you to go find a new country and you go and found America and then its your cuz u found it so now i king george III keep on telling u stuff like examples making laws for your country taxation on tea so basically no they didnt like it, i mean would you like it? would u think its fair? i mean u found the land so yea hope i helped :) recommend me thx.
King George III thought colonists should be subjected to British laws because the colonists were dependent on Great Britain for the supplies they needed. However, the colonists found ways to create these supplies on their own through farming, textile mills, and other such means.
King George III ignored the colonists' plea for a peaceful solution because he didn't want to give up control of the colonists. He also wanted the land that was available in the New World for himself.
Since I am not personally a believer in the supposed divine right of kings, I do not see any basis for King George III to rule the American colonies against the wishes of the colonists. The colonists were basically in the right. Of course, their moral position was somewhat weakened by their continued practice of slavery, which was not to end until almost a century later. The colonists were no saints, either.
The colonists think the writs of assistance violated their rights because they wanted it to be secure in their home.
no
What did King George think of the colonists? They were revolting!
I'm not sure about this but I think George V ruled India in 1935
