he got beat up by his dad and ran away
west eastmen high
he had to leave his wife and kids to go to the Alamo and he ended up dying at the Alamo
The pets that Davy Crockett had were 2 dogs (unknown what kind), 3 bears (2 grizzlies and 1 black), and 6 Platypuses. The platypuses unfortunately got eaten by the bears and when Davy tried to replace them he got only three more. one died from stroke, one died from a heart attack and the last one died jumping for glee because the second one was its wife. Luckily his wife went to hell so he didnt have to put up with her nagging in Platypus heaven.
i say no because Davy Crockett fought in the Alamo and how could someone go up to cloud mountain and catch a comet by the tail .i am only in the fourth grade and i am doing a play called tall tales and heroes and it says that about him but im not sure it is true. november 6,2009

Davy Crockett lived from 1786 -1836. He lived a large life--frontiersman, congressman from Tennessee, fought in the war of 1812 and died at the Alamo in Texas. He married twice, had 4 children. The Disney movie, Davy Crockett, lives up to the legends about his life, some exaggerated, but all good stories.

About 130 Texas volunteers made up of many European immigrants, Davy's Tennessee volunteers. However, the only really significant people were William Travis, James Bowie, Davy Crockett and Juan Segein
Davy Crockett is considered a hero because he fought in the Creek War.
Davy Crockett displayed courage through his fearless participation in the frontiersman's lifestyle, facing harsh wilderness challenges and defending settlers against hostile forces. His most notable act of bravery came during the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, where he fought valiantly against overwhelming odds, ultimately sacrificing his life for the cause of Texan independence. Crockett's commitment to standing up for his beliefs and protecting others exemplifies his courageous spirit.
