Since China is not always a whole, sometimes there were several dynasties in the same time. For example, we all know the Song dynasty(960~1279),but in the same time, there were still other dynasties. There were Liao Dynasty (907~1125),Jin dynasty(1115~1234)(They were the ancestors of the people who created Qing dynasty),and Xixia(1038~1227). Qing dynasty(1636~1911) is the last dynasty of China.
