1) Increased American patriotism.

2) Weakened Native Americans resistance.

3) U.S. manufacturing grew.

4) U.S. proved that it could defend itself against the mightest military power of the era.

5) Americans began to believe that the young nation would survive and prosper.

One is national pride. Since the War of 1812, it has increased our national pride. It let people realize the significance of our country. The war produced patriotism in Americans for having stood up to the British. This changed the way we thought about our military and our nation.

The second effect I'm going to talk about is American manufacturing. The war boosted our manufacturing. The American manufacturing boosted because of a lack of goods caused by the interruption in trade. After the war, production of goods exploded. Soon, American dependence on imports dropped slightly as Americans became more self-sufficient. :)
