Royal African Company
The English East India Company was formed in 1600 by a group of merchants in London, seeking to capitalize on trade opportunities in the East Indies, particularly in spices and silk. The company received a royal charter from Queen Elizabeth I, granting it a monopoly on English trade in the region. Over time, it expanded its influence and control over large parts of India and played a significant role in British colonial expansion.

The Dutch East India Company :)
After the Royal African Company was granted a charter by King Charles II in 1660, it was given a monopoly over the English trade in African slaves. This charter allowed the company to control the transportation and sale of enslaved individuals, significantly contributing to the transatlantic slave trade. The Royal African Company played a crucial role in the economic interests of England during that period, facilitating the exploitation of African resources and people. This monopoly remained in place until it was gradually dismantled in the late 18th century.
Monopolies is the plural form monopoly. A monopoly is when a person or company has complete control of a supply or trade in a market.
During the first Atlantic Slave Trade system most of these traders were Portuguese, giving them a near-monopoly during the era, although some Dutch, English, Spanish and French traders also participated in the slave trade. After the occupation, Portugal stayed formally autonomous, but was weakened, with its colonial empire being attacked by the Dutch and English. The Second Atlantic system was the trade of African slaves by mostly English, Brazilian, French and Dutch traders.
